Jessica Heley, Librarian

Meet the Librarian

Jessica Heley, the librarian at Lidgerwood Public Library, brings a warm blend of hometown pride, academic dedication, and a deep love for books—especially fantasy and Star Wars novels. Jessica is the daughter of Ron and Gina Heley. She is a graduate of Lidgerwood Public School, NDSCS and MSUM. Jessica’s path has led her back to her roots, where she enjoys creating a quiet, welcoming space for the community.

Jessica’s favorite part of her role is the peace and immersion in books that the library offers. She envisions the library as a safe haven for reading and a resource for Lidgerwood’s residents. Jessica is eager to support ongoing programs at the library.

Jessica’s love for physical books keeps her committed to the library’s mission of connecting readers with stories. Her top recommendations reflect her personal passions, from the *Star Wars: The Old Republic* series to *Band of Brothers,* which she finds both inspiring and informative. If you’re ever looking to chat about dragons, Star Wars, or books in general, Jessica is happy to help, whether in person or by phone during the library's open hours Tuesday- Thursday 2:00pm -7:00pm and Friday 10:00am-2:00pm.
